Who runs it
NextTable is operated by 5GEN TECH of Amritsar, Punjab, India. If you have a question about anything on this page, write to hi@5gentech.com.
What we hold
- Your member details — name, mobile number, email, company, business category and chapter. These come from the organisers of the event you are attending, out of their own member list.
- What you do at the event — the asks you post, the referrals you give and receive including the contact details you type in, which table you sat at each round, and whether you have checked in.
- Sign-in records — when a one-time code was sent to your number and when it was used.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent your information to anyone.
- We don't use it for advertising, and there are no ad or analytics trackers in the app.
- We don't read your contacts, photos, location or messages. If you use the contact picker while passing a referral, only the single contact you choose is saved.
Why we hold it
To sign you in, to seat you for every round, to let the people at your table see who you are and what you are looking for, and to keep a record of the referrals you exchanged so you can follow them up in the days afterwards.
Who can see it
Members attending the same conclave can see your name, company, category, chapter and the asks you post. That is the point of the day.
A referral is visible to the member who gave it and the member who received it. The organisers of your event can see attendance and referral totals for that event.
Where it is kept
On a server in Europe operated on our behalf, reached only over an encrypted connection. One-time sign-in codes are sent by SMS through MSG91, an Indian messaging provider.
How long
For as long as the organisers keep the event open, so members can return to their referrals after the day. Ask us and we will delete your record sooner.
Your choices
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hi@5gentech.com and we will reply within 30 days. Deleting your record removes you from the event.
Children
NextTable is for members of business networking organisations and is not intended for anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
